One of Aspen Glen’s finest golfers played the course with “Mr. Fox”. Mr. Fox shows an uncanny aptitude for the game, just be sure to watch your golf balls around him!
The Jack Nicklaus/Jack Nicklaus II golf course and surrounding areas are so well integrated into our natural surroundings, that even the most discerning creatures feel comfortable passing through. Some of Aspen Glen’s quietest residents are bald eagles and winter elk. A pair of bald eagles return each year to their nest above the Roaring Fork River. Years ago, Aspen Glen created a nature preserve for this pair to raise their offspring. The raptors, along with human residents, enjoy trout fishing along the four miles of Gold Medal waters of the Roaring Fork which meander through Aspen Glen. Residents are privileged to share their neighborhood with wildlife.
