You bet! Fran and I, along with a fun group of Aspen Glen residents and clients, did indeed ski Aspen Mountain on Memorial Day 2019. The top third of Aspen Mountain was open and we thoroughly enjoyed our half day. The sun was shining, the conditions were fabulous for the end of May and the slopes uncrowded. Mother Nature was kind to the Colorado Rockies this ski season – our snowpack is more than 350% of average! This made for a banner ski season! Meanwhile, the Roaring Fork Valley is colored in every shade of green imaginable. Mt. Sopris remains snow covered and a wonderful contrast to the green valley floor and Red Hill in Carbondale. Spring is a special time of year. Will we ski next weekend? The mountain will be open and is calling. Maybe we’ll escape for a couple of hours . . .
The Roaring Fork Valley from Aspen to Glenwood offers an abundance of outdoor activities year round. It you are interested in exploring all that the valley has to offer, please let Fran and I be your guides – call, email or text us to discuss the needs, wants and desires for your lifestyle.
